01. About Me
Hello! My name is Brett and I'm a web developer who enjoys creating clean and beautiful websites. I've been developing for about a year at this point and started my journey into programming at UCSD's Full Stack extension program. That program gave me the skills and confidence to transform my ideas into real websites for the world to see. When it comes to web development in general I enjoy the designing aspect a lot and am always going to continue learning new things to better improve the look and feel of the websites I make. I think I'll always have a passion for making websites and maybe even try to make a video game in the future.
Besides writing code I enjoy traveling, spending time with my girlfriend and cats, and have recently gotten into pixel art.

Crypto Tracker
This is a crypto tracking app using Coin Gecko API that allows you to search and view the most popular cryptocurrencies. This project uses React and Axios along with the API to gather the cryptocurrency data.
Movie Watchlist
This app uitilizes the tmdb api and uses react hooks and context api. The app allows you to search the tmdb api and add a movie to either a watchlist or a list of movies you've already watched and allows to move movies from list to list.
Personal website
This is the site you're currently on now. I'm proud of my personal website and I think it showcases my front end skills nicely. It's my favorite website I've made so far I hope you're enjoying it.
React Notes
This site allows you to create notes that also persist to local storage. You're able to filter through the notes you have as well as delete notes and toggle between dark and light theme
